| Homer
is located 45 minutes by air or 225 road miles south of
Anchorage at the southern tip of the famous Kenai Peninsula.
The beautiful four-hour drive circles Turnagain Arm, then
follows a rushing river through the mountains, winds past
the aquamarine waters of Kenai Lake and River, and south
to the Baycrest Overlook, where you will see beautiful Kachemak
Bay, the Kenai Mountains, glaciers, and the Homer Spit stretched
out before you. Keep your eyes open for moose and Dall sheep
along the way! |
To
find the Garden House, continue down the hill into town
and turn left onto Pioneer Avenue. Travel through town to
the blinking red light (the only one in town). Continue
straight as Pioneer Avenue becomes East Road. Follow East
Road 2.5 miles and turn left onto Bear Creek Drive. The
Garden House is the third house on the right at 60599 Bear
Creek Drive. Welcome to your Alaska home!
